Shanxi: The first large-scale Shiitake mushroom cultivation base has been established in Heishan

The first large-scale Shiitake mushroom cultivation base has been established in Heishan, Shanxi Province. This base introduced specialized mushroom spawn bags production line. It is operated by modern pattern combining “cooperatives+ bases+ families”.
From this March, under the guidance of Shanxi Special Agriculture Development Centre, Heishan began to build a large-scale edible mushroom cultivation base. Till now, this country has invested 600 thousand CNY to the mushroom base, produced 100 thousand bags Shiitake mushroom, built 6 spawn running sheds. The base is projected to transfer land-use of 50 mu, intends to achieve Shiitake mushroom production over 300 thousand bags. It can also be regarded as an effective way for accelerating the development of local edible mushroom industry and improving mushroom farmer’s income.
